Owh.. what a hectic life I have recently. So need some rest and setting up a new year resolution for 2008. Will do few major ‘upgrade’ in some areas of my life.
Ok, take a break. Just got this email from a friend. With few simple questions and you know what. I got them all wrong! Haha.. Your turn to try them out.. Enjoy
–
The Stupid Test! Here Is A Fun And Real Challenge!
OK. Pay close attention. Here is a very simple little test comprised of four easy question to determine the level of your intellect. See if you have what it takes to be considered smart
Your replies must be spontaneous and immediate, with no deliberating or wasting of time . and PLEASE no cheating!
On your mark, get set, GO!
1: You are competing in a race
and overtake the runner in second place.
In which position are you now?
Answer: If you answered that you’re now in first,
you’re wrong!
You overtook the second runner and took his place, therefore you are now in second place.
For the next question try not to be so dim.
2: If you overtake the last runner,
what position are you now in?
Answer: If you answered second to last,
you are wrong once again.
Think about it…
How can you overtake the person who is last?
If you’re behind them, they can’t be last.
You would have been last.
It would appear that thinking is not one of your strong points.
Anyway, here’s another question to try. Don’t take any notes or use a calculator, and remember, your replies must be instantaneous.
3: Take 1000. Add 40. Add another 1000.
Add 30. 1000 again. Plus 20.
Plus 1000. And plus 10.
What is the total?
Answer: 5000?
Wrong again!
The correct answer is 4100.
Try again with good calculator.
Today is clearly not your day, although you should manage to get the last question right…
4: Marie’s father has five daughters:
1. Chacha
2. Cheche
3. Chichi
4. Chocho
5. ?
Question: What is the fifth daughter’s name?
Think quickly… you’ll find the answer below..
Answer: Chuchu?
WRONG!
It’s obviously Marie!
Read the question properly.
You are clearly the weakest link.
Now challenge your friends!

I got few e-mails from fellow internet marketers promoting a free report titled “The death of network marketing”. You will get US0.25 per successful download. But hold on. I’m NOT going to ask you to download anything so that I can make money and left you getting few bucks because you don’t know how to make money with it.
This kind of viral marketing was being made popular by Scott Boulch of The death of Adsense where you get US1 for each download if I’m not mistaken. Then more internet marketers adapting this method to build list fast and sell high-priced seminar and dvd collection or whatever.
It was hard to get the download not as what people say ‘easy money’. If you do not have at least 1000 subscribers in your opt-in list, forget about it. No one will download from you when you advertise on your blog with only 20 visitors a day.
Furthermore it is a one time payment that you get from your effort. Not a long term residual income you can get again and again from the internet.
Lately I always think a simpler, better way for beginner and non-techie people to really be successful on the internet. If you say that everybody can make money online, I totally disagree with that.
It’s just like saying everybody can be an engineer. Yes you can be a an engineer, but you need a special skill and enough knowledge to be one. You have to spend lots of time learning, researching and master lots of other technical skill to be an engineer.
If you want to make money online you may need to know how to build website, setting up a blog, shopping cart, uploading files, affiliate program scripts, know about SEO, web 2.0, opt-in list and so on and so on.. Do you think you can do this with what you currently have? Do you really afford to do what it takes to be successful online?
How many of you have read more than 20 ebooks on making money online? How many of you have spent more than 3 hours a day just to look for opportuny to make money online? How many of you have gone to seminar but still don’t have idea how to make money online? How many of you getting less than USD10 from internet after spend time blogging for more than 3 months?
So what’s the simple way? Do you have the answer? I don’t.. at this moment but I will share when I have the answer. Think think..

Got some extra time tonight. Checked out some of internet marketer’s e-mails that I subscribe and go to my google reader to read some blogs.
When I read through, I could see the trend of bloggers apologize readers because they did not have time to update the blog, reduce in number of generous and useful tips etc.
Below are some reasons I can think of why the bloggers are slowing down and may lead to the death of blogging..
- Too busy to write for free
- Don’t get enough money to ‘fund’ their blogging effort
- People don’t have time to read blogs anymore
- No more interesting idea to write about
- Don’t have goals and no achievements whatsoever after writing for a year!
Now blog is just like a website - Being abandoned and left out being rubbish on the internet. When doing a search, the old posting that is not relevant anymore pops up requiring more time for you to find a good answer for your research.
So what’s next after blogging?

Not sure whether I wrote about this before but just to remind myself about this matter. It is the key for success in making money actually.
People always talk about getting extra money. Make BIG money but most of them who talked about it just didn’t make it. And they will continue to talk about it.
These people will talk about what is the best business to do now, high margin, low risk, mass market, profitable. The ’smarter’ people then talk about how to penetrate the market, doing a viral marketing approach to get more money in very little time.
At the end, none of those “smart” people is making money. I think because they are too ’smart’ to see the little yet so important thing; which is how you want to get your first dollar. Once you can do this, you have no problem making ‘extra’ money. That’s the small secret.
p/s: Am thinking to get my first dollar for my new project………..

Today just received my check from exabytes. Not much but still help me to pay the bills for this month. Here’s a photo I took with my compact digital cam. No need for a scanner anymore..

Exabytes is one from only a few Malaysia’s affiliate merchant who give a generous amount of affiliate commission. They give RM78 per hosting sale. The only difficult part is you need to accumulate the commission till it sum up to RM400 for you to get the check.
If you are interested to join and get some money, you can join the affiliate program for free. Go to exabytes website, click on “Reseller & Affiliates” on top and then click on “Affiliate program” on the left bar. Just sign up as usual and you will get the URL to promote.
The conversion rate (from my stats) so far is about 0.75% (from about 135 visitors you get 1 sale). Quite low but you can get higher conversion if you expose the ad to more targeted visitors.
I’m not going for affiliate commission that much lately. Give more attention to Google Adsense and my other potential online businesses. It is just like a bonus besides my other streams of income I receive every months.
Maybe you want to read this book titled “Multiple streams of income” by Robert G. Allen. You can get some idea how to do it better.

Yestereday only I had the chance to withdraw my Google Adsense income with Western Union at CIMB Bank. This is my first experience receiving money with Western Union.
The process is very simple. You have to prepare with this information
- Amount of money expected to receive
- Money Sender Name and address
- 10-digit MTCN (money transfer control number)
- Your IC or identity document
Just fill up WU receive money form (with all above details) and provide your IC. That’s it. Just like withdrawing money during old days with passbook at the counter.
One question asked before this was whether you can use your name without BIN/BINTI for Malaysian muslim. The answer is YES you can use your name without the BIN/BINTI. No issue. Same rule goes to name on check.
So with this new option, no more long waiting time to cash money for Adsense income. Previously need to wait for 1 and half month to get the cash (2 weeks to receive posted check and 3 weeks to clear the check. Phew)
The next thing to try is transfering paypal money to Visa card. Anybody has tried this?

I found this advertised on Google Ads - car sticker service in Malaysia. You can now promote your websites/blog/business or whatever with this custom design car sticker.
You won’t have to order for minimum 1000 pieces when you only need just one! The price is reasonable for me.
You can check it out for yourself at
http://www.karbling.com
I’ve been waiting for this service in Malaysia since I bumped into this service on net few years ago. Will plan for offline marketing for some of my local net biz soon.

Just got an email from namecheap.com to announce their new price tag for TLD domain names. So after this most probably all other domain name service providers will increase their price accordingly including Malaysia’s.
Here’s the new price for namecheap (effective from October 14, 2007 - yeahh 2nd raya day)
.com domain renewals, transfers and new registrations: Old pricing $8.88, new pricing $9.29 per year
.net domain renewals, transfers and new registrations: Old pricing $8.88, new pricing $9.29 per year
.org domain renewals, transfers and new registrations: Old pricing $8.88, new pricing $9.29 per year
.info domain renewals, transfers and new registrations: Old pricing $8.88, new pricing $9.29 per year
.biz domain renewals, transfers and new registrations: Old pricing $8.88, new pricing $9.29 per year
But I think this price still considered cheap compared to yesteryears when you need to buy a domain name for more than $10 per year.
Wish a Selamat Hari Raya. Maaf Zahir dan Batin to all Muslims around the globe..

Few days ago, I had accidently deleted this blog and all the database gone. When asking the web hosting support, they said that they only had one backup which is after the blog been deleted.
Almost gave up but still look around for any backups that I had and fortunately I got a fantastico auto backup during upgrade of wordpress version.
So the latest posting I manage to get is in June 2007. Not much I wrote since then anyway. So will start again updating this blog but not as active as before. Have commitment with other things.
