Provide FREE information

Recently I’ve downloaded e-book from Harvey Segal titled The Ultimate Super Tips. He provides few Free e-books on internet-marketing-related topic. Previously I’ve read his free e-book on affiliate marketing.

A very nice and well written e-book telling you on how to do the right marketing on the internet and how to provide free information to presell your products or affiliate programs. He is not using the SEO techniques but stress more providing free information (e-books and articles) to the mass and go viral when people get the free information and telling others about it (some through affiliate).

Reading is easy. To implement what is being read is the hard part. Argh.

SEO techniques using blog

I really interested with the ebook titled Blogging to the bank. It ranked no. 7 now at clickbank.com. I’m going to purchase the e-book soon after settling all my pending jobs and projects. I did some research and read review written by some of the internet marketer online.

The e-book is actually about making money through affiliate program by getting free traffic from free blog with the SEO techniques.

Actually free blog like blogspot and blogsome are built with search engine friendly in mind. And search engine loves blog because it always has fresh contents compared to websites that sometimes take months to be updated with new contents.
Some of the best features in most of the blog application is blog ping and friendly URL.

Blog ping in a simple words is getting your blog crawl by many blog directories once it is updated. The most popular one is ping-o-matic. While the SE Friendly URL is like yourdomain.com/your-post-title.

I’ve just created few other free niche blog with blogspot.com recently. Will update soon on the progress.

Back to work!

It has been few days I was busy with my new born little baby. So now its time to get back to work. I’ve been surfing around and read quite interesting posts on other internet marketers’ blog. About their upcoming projects, problems, achievements etc. They are doing great. Good for them.
Me too need sometime to review my goals and update my action plans. Chop off anything that is not working and unnecessary and start doing something that are working.
Will still concentrating on adsense income generation, affiliate marketing and work out for some new online businesses.

All I need are time and action! Just do it bebeh.

I’m so happy today. My beloved wife gave birth to our 2nd child at 12.05 a.m. A baby boy. Now we have a pair of sweet children. They give me more strength to achieve my goals and to be a better father. I don’t know what to comment.

If you want to go to http://www.ahmadazwan.com just type ahmadazwan and press ctrl-enter. It will automatically add http://www at the beginning and a .com at the end. Very fast
To show your desktop, just press windows-M (use the windows key on your keyboard)
To open window explorer (instead of double clicking on your My-Computer), you can just press Windows-E.

How to secure your PHP code on server

Long time ago, I’ve been searching for ways to secure my PHP code on hosting server or code installed on client’s server. As like compiled language such as C++ or VB, you can easily compile it as executable file (.exe) and you do not have to hand in your source code.

As for PHP, you can also do this by having additional code to encrypt your PHP code. Some of the softwares are

But as usual, there always smarter people than smart people. We can only do what we can. Encrpyted code is better than unencrypted one. At least more work needed to hack the code.

Registered with aweber autoresponder

After done research on autoresponders, finally I’ve decided to use aweber as my autoresponder service. I’ve paid for 3 months subscription for the service and if everything goes well, will continue to pay for one whole year.

Before this I’ve tested sendfree.com for free list. The service is quite OK but there are some limitations in the free service such as limitation on number of leads and no e-mail broadcasting service where you can send e-mail to all your leads (subscribers) immediately. This is important when you have a time-sensitive announcement or offer to be made.

Will update more on autoresponder tips soon. Will be busy creating list and adding messages to the list for this first few days.

How to get more searched keywords on google

I just found this feature on google search which is called ‘Google Suggest’. As you are typing your keyword, there will be more suggested keywords available in drop down menu. Further more, it will show you total number of results for each and every keyword.

I think it will be quite useful for internet marketers out there to get more specific keywords and supply for the keywords.

“The google story” book

Went to MPH just now just browsing through interesting books there. Found a book titled “The Google Story“. I’ve found once at Kinokuniya few months ago but cannot go through the book because it was sealed. But just now I could flip the pages to find out about the books.

It is a very intesting book on how Google started off with small office in garage till becoming a large corporation worth billion of dollars. Will put this book in my list of books to buy 🙂 Very inspiring.

The price is only $26 or RM89. Quite cheap compared to e-book standard price at $47 per book. Hmm.. now I can say that RM89 is cheap. Haha. After promoting and buying e-books for $47 online.

In order to leverage more on traffic building to my websites, I’ve just registered with goClick. Here are some comments and comparison with Google Adwords that I use as the first PPC SE.

goClick registration is much simpler. You can just register for free first and add your campaign. Then only you need to add fund in order to the campaign to be published. The minimum deposit is for just $10. The minimum price you can bid is just for $0.01.
